By the numbers
Twenty years of helping people and organizations move from conversation to action.
Leading communities of practice, strategic planning and organizational redesign across education and the public sector.
Facilitating groups from small leadership teams to large cross-sector convenings.

about me
An educator, equity practitioner, facilitator and organizational strategist. My work sits at the intersection of people, systems and change.
strategist
Strategic planning, organizational design and implementation.
facilitator
Retreats, convenings and difficult conversations, from 3 to 300+ people.
equity practitioner
Translating equity values into everyday organizational practice.
Strategist, Facilitator and Equity Practitioner I am particularly interested in the moments when an organization knows something needs to change but isn’t yet clear on how to get there.
When a team needs to rethink how it works, when leaders face a difficult decision, when stakeholders hold competing perspectives, or when a commitment to equity needs to become more than a statement of values. My approach is practical and collaborative, grounded in the belief that good change needs both strong systems and real attention to the people living through it.
How I can help
Engagements range from a single facilitated session to a multi-month organizational project.

Strategy & Organizational Design
Planning, alignment and the structures to deliver it.

Facilitation & Convening
Conversations that help groups decide and move forward.

Change & Transition, Conflict & Collaborative Problem-Solving, and Equity into Practice.
Change is hard even when everyone agrees it is needed. MBG helps organizations navigate the human and operational sides of change, work through conflict, and turn equity commitments into practice.
From conversation to action
Good organizational change requires both strong systems and meaningful attention to the people experiencing it.
Clarify the strategy. Design the path.
Engage the people. Make change stick.
Every engagement is shaped around your challenge, not a fixed package. A 30-minute consult is the easiest place to start.
Clarify the strategy
Design the path
Engage the people
On my mind
Ideas I’m writing about on organizational change, strategy and facilitation.

The messy middle of organizational change.
What happens between deciding to change and actually changing, and how to lead through it.
Facilitation when people genuinely disagree.
Why the answer is rarely another meeting, and what a better conversation looks like.
